About Grayson West

Grayson West grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, and attended San Jose State University, majoring in Photojournalism. After interning for several Bay Area newspapers, he moved to Salt Lake City to work as a photographer for the Salt Lake Tribune. He was an official photographer for the 2002 Winter Olympics. He left the Tribune to take the Chief Photographer’s position at the Park City Record, the local newspaper in Park City. Photographing for The Record integrated him into the community and the surrounding areas. This experience helped to expand his knowledge and understanding of the area and its residents. He left the Park Record and started his own digital media and website development business, while also working in the hospitality industry in Park City. Over the past several years he has been involved in event planning and management for local resorts, distilleries, and special events. He is an avid snowboarder and photographer and enjoys all outdoor activities.
